Drawing pictures is a great way to help your child develop their pre-handwriting stokes and shape formation skills. It is amazing how, by using these simple shapes, you and your child can create fantastic pictures.

Try using basic shapes as circles, rectangles and triangles to begin with and then add some swirls, curves and spirals to give extra detail.
